Why is our Jeep having trouble starting in the morning?

Our 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd has always started on the 1st try, but for the past 3 weeks the first start of the day takes us about 12 tries, and if it is damp outside even longer. My hubby has since given it an oil %26amp; filter change, replaced the spark plugs, and added some fuel injector, but nothing has made a difference. After the initial start, it is fine all day. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you remedy it? We really cannot afford to take it to a mechanic if we do not have to, so any help is appreciated...thanks :)Why is our Jeep having trouble starting in the morning?
Check the fuel pressure on the injector rail before you try to start it in the morning. If it is zero you have a leaky fuel injector or the fuel pressure regulator is bad. Leaking injectors can cause hard starts. Next time you try to start it after sitting overnight turn the key on and wait 5 seconds before you turn the key to start it.Why is our Jeep having trouble starting in the morning?

Wired connections are not tight, everywhere.

When wet weather is occurring, spray WD-40 on the sparkplug wires, then restart. (Mechanics trick) I may believe where you reside you have a lot of moisture in the morn, Tell your husband to buy Di-electric grease and use it under all sparkplug boots then reinstall them creating a waterproof seal. Surround the entire boot, also use it on the battery terminals.

Also with a socket wrench check to see if the battery terminals at the starter are tight. This could mean the difference between a quick start and no start.
