1991 mustang with no low end power?

My slightly modded 1991 ford mustang is missing some power low end, first lets start with the mods. GT-40p heads ported, e-303 cam, Edelbrock performer RPM intake. Built AOD 2500 stall converter. frame connectors upper and lower control arms, aurburn locker, lakewood rear 50/50 shocks, dot radials 3.73 gears. full exhaust. Originally i had 30lp injectors with matched maf sensor, and adjustable regulator. couldnt get the car to stop flooding out, so we changed injectors back to 19lp and bumped the fuel pressure up. now the car has no low end torque it seems as if it will not run untill bout 15-20 yards out of the hole. how do i fix this problem? i ordered 24lp injector and matching maf because i think the 19lp just is'nt enought, but some other problems that could plague me is that the intake gaskets that were used were the stock intake gaskets, so the ports may be covered just a lil. the timing isnt perfect. besides that i dunno what else it could be... any help would be appreciated..

thanks

suspect you have stock springs on the advance weights inside the distributor [these could hold up a garage door] while your total advance may be in the ballpark, my suggestion is for lighter springs and retarding the total timing three to five degrees at first and then adding 1 degree at a pass until the maximum is achieved.

while you are waiting for injectors and M.A.F. to arrive snatch off the intake and inspect the gaskets.

if there is an overlay problem a new set of gaskets and a set of x-acto knives will fix it

as a base line set the fuel pressure to stock specs w/ new injectors until the timing is figured out.

only then start adding fuel [read the plugs often ]

good luck hope at least some of this helps.
