until after about10 to 12 cranks it kicks over;when it does ,it runs great the whole day no problems,,but when i get up the next day the same thing. The cranking power is good so i dont think its elec. I sprayed the injector with quik start and thats not working. I changed the fuel filter and same problem.If it was the fuel pump in the gas tank ,then how come it runs the whole day with no problems?Do i need a simple cap and rotar change or tune up? Most likely starting problems are the cause of a bad battery or bad starter. If it eventually starts, runs all day, but then dies during the night, my diagnosis would be a bad battery that needs to be replaced.How do I fix, my vw? When i try to crank my vw over it wont start?
The starter can do that sometimes but I actually think its your battery since it gets cgarged once the car starts but battles to power the starter every morning. You can have a check done free of charge at a battery specialist. They will also check your alternator for charge.
