CNG compress natural gas, what CR(compression ratio require?) cost?

wondering of the detail of CNG, probably special fuel tank, injectors, intake? carb? change fuel lines? will HP decrease? how to get more HP if HP horsepower decrease? wonder would it work on old 60's cars as well modern Fuel Injection cars?

what the cost, HP increase, stay the same.

MPG.

where do you get a fill up?

thank

Special tank - yes, that's why it's more popular in pickups and large trucks.

Inject or carb - I don't know about injectors but there is a %26quot;mixer%26quot; that fits on top of a carb that feeds the cng after you switch off the gasoline. It replaces the carb if you go total cng.

Yes, horsepower will be less unless you increase the compression ratio, which I have seen up to 18:1 in dedicated applications.

Cost - 20 years ago it was about $2000 to $2500 depending on the vehicle.

Where to fill - a conversion can be done to run on propane which you can buy at any place that refills for your gas grill/bbq.
